The Crazy Cycles of Routines

As I sit here writing this I am trying a new "trick" to get Little Ninja to sleep. Like Wyatt she is going to start going to bed at 1900 as well. I am working more on routines around here (taking baby steps). Tonight is Night #1 of bringing her into her room and making her go to sleep in her bed like a "Big Girl". It's been almost an hour now and she is still fighting this out, but oh well!
I can't keep fighting with her to go to bed and the rocking, then carrying her upstairs just for her to sleep a few hours in her bed then crawl into mine. Sad part to doing this now is she's sick. :( but it has to be done and I wanted to start working on it before daddy really got home.

They say the hardest job in the Military is being a wife, I completely disagree I think a hard job (not the hardest) is being a parent. I give credit to all those who sacrifice their lives to go over and defend our freedom, I will never and I mean NEVER disrespect Military no matter what branch!
But I've went from being a young single parent to being a parent and married (my husband was working alot so it was only me) then we had Little Ninja. So I'm at home trying to be the good wife, since that was our agreement he would work and I would handle the house, kids, and everything else. Let me tell you though, I don't think for one second my husband could do some of the things I do.
For Christmas stand down he was getting stressed just being at home with the kids anyways :P I was like Welcome to my daily world honey!!!!
He's like I know what you go through,
Me: Oh really?
Hubby: Yeah I do.
Me: Okay (mind you Wild Child has had no appts & we've had to go nowhere) Do you know where all Wild Child & Little Ninja's dr's are? How about when the bills are due?
Hubby: No......But I can figure it out.
Me: *Shows him my calendar on my computer*
Hubby: What the hell are all those colors for??
Me: Well you see everything is color coded for each one of us plus bills, birthdays, and everything else.
Hubby: Holy Crap!
Me:Yeah see you wanna try again?
lol I find this all funny because when people do see my calendar whether it's my iPad, Mac or the one in my bag they flip and are like you have all these appts and etc. I'm like uh yeah. I'm sorry but mom's are SUPER WOMAN! No matter what any one else tells you. Whether you are single, or married, you are everything to those kid(s) and it's hard! I'm only 22 years old and on days I just wanna quit but then I realize my kids would starve, no baths, no school, no homework, get sick, and everything else.  I love my Husband but sometimes I wanna pull a Gibbs and smack him in the back of the head.....lol
Sorry But that was my little vent for the day lol
